We would like everyone to know how wonderful God is by sharing the testimony of how our Church began. In 1993, eight of our Brothers and Sisters were holding services in a gymnasium in Friendship, Tennessee. God had other plans for this faithful congregation. He had brought them through rough and stormy seas and although they were small in number they knew God would supply their needs.

(Hebrews 11:6)
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

They were then relocated to a VFW Post. Their trek was far from accomplishment and they moved once more. The Holy Ghost was preparing to do a considerable endeavor. They began assemblies in a modest storefront and four more souls were added unto them.

A little while later, the Holy Ghost gave specific instructions: "Build Me A Church!"

Thank the Lord Jesus for obedient servants! Searching for land was a tedious process and much prayer was made. He finally compelled them to an acre of land. Jesus worked out every detail and things fell into place. Construction commenced and it took a year to build. Our first service was held in Febuary of 1994 and building dedication took place in June of that same year.

Faith Pentecostal Church was birthed through the Holy Ghost's divine instructions and through members who were not ready to give up when it seemed all hope was lost.

In the years following construction, a gentleman bought five acres behind the church. He built a house there and took up residence. But again, God intervened......certain circumstances moved that gentleman off the land!

Another miraculous work was taking shape!

The five acres were purchased again, along with the house and in 1998 it was all donated to our church! God laid it on someone's heart and through their observance and abnegation, God worked out an almost unattainable situation.

God is adding to our church continuosly. December of 2002 brought Rev. Darren Howell to us. He had spent many years on the road evangelizing before he became our Pastor. He has brought all of that experience with him along with a special anointing to minister to the Saints of God.

Our church has been likened to a hospital for lost and hurting souls, longing for a place of healing. Miraculous things are happening in our services. Anointed singing and preaching are taking place and gifts of the spirit are in operation. Everyone is welcome! So, come as you are and worship in spirit and in truth.

(2 Corinthians 3:17) ( Now the Lord is that Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.)

But WAIT!! God's not done! He has even more plans for Faith Pentecostal Church. For we are standing on faith and preparing to build a NEW BUILDING! This new building will seat 600 people! We are believing God will supply everything we need to complete this project. There are 600 souls out there searching for a place to call their home church and God is directing them toward Friendship, Tennessee.
